Prominent PDP figure, Otunba Hon. Jinadu Ahmed and several grassroots political leaders and coordinators from across Ogun West Senatorial District have formally declared support for Senator Olamilekan Solomon Adeola (YAYI) as their candidate for the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.
The stakeholders converged at Senator Adeola’s senatorial office in Ilaro on Friday, where they announced their decision to mobilise support for the senator’s ambition to succeed Governor Dapo Abiodun.
According to members of the delegation, the move was driven by Senator Adeola’s performance as a representative and his perceived capacity to deliver governance focused on the needs of the people. The gathering, which included key APC leaders, highlighted ongoing efforts to build momentum for Adeola’s candidacy, particularly in Ogun West — a zone widely seen as strategically important in the 2027 race.
Welcoming the group, Senator Adeola thanked the leaders for their endorsement. He assured them of an inclusive approach, mutual respect, and a commitment to the development of Ogun State, adding that his political movement remains open to individuals and groups from all backgrounds willing to contribute to the state’s progress.
The stakeholders, in turn, pledged to deploy their structures and influence across Ogun West to back Adeola’s governorship aspiration.
