A highly educated and professional group within the senatorial district of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adéọlá (YAYI), under the platform Ogun West Professionals for YAYI, on Sunday organised a well-attended media chat and public lecture in support of strategic political cohesion ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The lecture was delivered by the Senate Leader of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Opeyemi Micheal Bamidele, CON, and was titled:
“The Power of Internal Coherence in Securing External Support: A Roadmap to Achieving Ogun West Governorship Ambition in 2027.”

During the event, the professionals unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for a second term in office, while also adopting Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adéọlá (YAYI) as their preferred candidate for the Ogun State governorship in the 2027 elections.
In his keynote address, Senator Bamidele emphasized the necessity of unity, strategic alignment, and internal consensus within Ogun West as prerequisites for securing broader political support and actualising the long-standing aspiration of producing the next Governor of Ogun State from the zone.
