Egba Legacy Network Meets, Focuses On Human Capital Devt, Youth Empowerment

 The Egba Legacy Network has resolved to foster growth and unity among all Egba sons and daughters with a focus on Human Capital Development, Youth Empowerment, and provision of social amenities for the stability of Egbaland.

The group made this known on Sunday during its periodic meeting held at the Ibara GRA residence of Chief Bukola Olopade, the Director-General of the National Sports Commission (NSC).

The Egba Legacy Network is an organization of passionate individuals committed to fostering development, preserving the rich history, and promoting the cultural identity of the Egba people in Ogun State, Nigeria.

The meeting, chaired by Dr. Lai Labode, brought together notable Egba sons who deliberated on ways to drive progress and development in the region.

Discussions centered on strategies to enhance human capital development, youth engagement, cultural preservation, economic empowerment, and improve social amenities in Egbaland.

The meeting aimed to foster collaboration and collective action towards achieving sustainable development and stability in the region.

Earlier, the Aare of Egbaland and Chairman of the Egba Legacy Network, Dr. Lai Labode Jnr, charged all Egba sons and daughters both home and in diaspora to work towards the beautification and development of Abeokuta.

Labode explained that the group aimed to preserve the culture, traditions, and history of Egbaland while celebrating past the rich history of Egbaland.

Similarly, the Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo who made a brief appearance, thanked the group for their efforts at improving on the regeneration of Abeokuta and its metropolis through concerted engagement and projects execution.

Alake urged them to consolidate on the success recorded by the group last year
