The Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu Omoyayi, has hosted delegates from the district who attended the recently concluded National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.
The event brought together delegates from the six local government areas that constitute the senatorial district, including executive local government chairmen, party chairmen, party Secretaries, elected 3-person delegates per ward, selected leaders from the 74 wards, and other political stakeholders.

In his remarks, Senator Salisu thanked the delegates for their steadfast support for Governor Dapo Abiodun and the APC. He described the governor as a dependable leader, a strategic thinker, and a committed party man whose contributions continue to strengthen the foundation of the party in Ogun State.
He also congratulated the newly elected executive members at various levels and reaffirmed his commitment to delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Ogun Central. The senator highlighted some of his achievements and pledged to continue working closely with party leadership in the development of the state.

In her remarks, the Chairman of the APC in Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde, commended Senator Salisu for hosting the delegates. Speaking on behalf of the Ogun Central delegation, she described him as a responsible and responsive representative, noting that his gesture reflected strong leadership and inclusiveness.
The event further reinforced unity among party stakeholders in Ogun Central, as leaders reiterated their commitment to strengthening the APC’s structure ahead of future political engagements.
