Dr. Bolaji Marie Odusina Celebrates Mothers on Mother’s Day, Describes Them as Pillars of Society

The governorship aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ogun State, Dr. Bolaji Marie Odusina, has extended warm felicitations to mothers across Ogun State and Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Mother’s Day.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Dr. Odusina described mothers as the backbone of every home and the foundation upon which a peaceful and progressive society is built. She praised their sacrifices, resilience, love, and unwavering commitment to nurturing families and shaping future generations.

According to her, mothers play indispensable roles not only in the home but also in community development, leadership, education, and nation-building.

“Today, we celebrate the strength, courage, and sacrifices of our mothers who continue to inspire hope and stability in our homes and society. Their dedication to raising responsible children and supporting their families deserves continuous appreciation and recognition,” she said.

Dr. Odusina further acknowledged the challenges many mothers face amid the current economic realities, assuring that women and family welfare would remain a top priority in her vision for a better Ogun State.

She called on governments, institutions, and community leaders to continue creating policies and opportunities that empower women, protect mothers, and promote the well-being of families.

The ADC chieftain also encouraged mothers not to relent in their efforts toward building morally upright homes and contributing positively to society.

“As we honour mothers today, let us continue to support and appreciate them beyond celebrations. Their love, wisdom, and sacrifices remain priceless gifts to humanity,” she added.

Dr. Odusina wished all mothers a joyful and fulfilling Mother’s Day celebration, praying for good health, peace, happiness, and prosperity in their homes.
