Bells University Appoints Olota of Ota, Prof. Adeyemi Obalanlege As Board of Trustees Member

The Bells University Ota has appointed the Olota of the Ancient and Paramount Ottaland, Awori Kingdom, His Majesty Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege, Lanlege Ekun II, to its Board of Trustees and has the Island Club described the development as a deserving recognition of his sterling leadership and immense contributions to national development.

In a statement issued on behalf of the Chairman of the Island Club, Omo’ba Dr. Rotimi Olasode Martins, KCOP, the Trustees, Management Committee and the entire membership of the prestigious social institution, the club applauded the monarch’s latest elevation, noting that his appointment reflects his academic excellence, integrity and years of distinguished service to humanity.

Aare Ayodele Bankole, KCOP, the Hon. General Secretary of the Island Club, who signed the statement, said the royal father has continued to demonstrate uncommon leadership qualities and an unwavering commitment to educational advancement and societal progress.

“This prestigious appointment is a fitting recognition of Kabiyesi’s exemplary leadership, academic accomplishments, integrity and enduring contributions to national development,” Bankole stated.

He further noted that members of the Island Club are proud to identify with the monarch’s achievements and expressed confidence that his wealth of experience would further strengthen the governance structure of Bells University of Technology.

“We are delighted by this honour bestowed on His Majesty, Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege. His record of service, scholarship and traditional leadership continues to inspire many across the country,” Bankole said.

The Island Club’s scribe also conveyed the goodwill of the club to the revered monarch as he assumes the new responsibility.

“We wish Kabiyesi continued wisdom, strength and outstanding success in this new responsibility,” he added.

Professor Obalanlege, who is the Olota of the Ancient and Paramount Ottaland and a respected academic, has remained a prominent voice in educational development and traditional institution leadership in Nigeria. His appointment to the Board of Trustees of Bells University is expected to enrich the institution’s vision and strategic growth trajectory.
