– Distribute 350 Bags of Rice, 300 Cartons of Noodles, Over ₦30m to 3,000 Constituents
Political, religious, and community leaders from Ijebu North, Ijebu East, and Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency on Sunday gathered in Ago-Iwoye for a Victory Prayer Assembly to seek divine support for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the election of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola YAYI as Governor of Ogun State, and the election of Prince Dapo Abiodun as Senator for Ogun East Senatorial District.

The Assembly, convened by Prince Fatai Adesegun, attracted over 3,000 constituents. Beyond the interdenominational prayer sessions, the event featured a major empowerment program where 350 bags of rice, 300 cartons of noodles, and more than ₦25 million in cash were distributed to various groups across the three local government areas.

Speaking at the event, Prince Adesegun described the Tinubu administration as “a reformist government that has set Nigeria on a path to greater prosperity,” stressing that a second term is necessary to “consolidate the ongoing reforms for the benefit of all Nigerians.”
On the 2027 Ogun governorship race, Adesegun urged constituents to “rally round Senator YAYI, who remains the best man for the job,” citing his legislative track record and commitment to grassroots development.

Dignitaries present included the League of Imams and Alfas from the three LGAs, representatives of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), APC executives from all 32 wards, serving Councillors, GAC members, and other stakeholders.
Prayers were offered for peace in Ogun State, national stability, and electoral success for the endorsed candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
