
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has sworn in Mr. Olanrewaju Iskeel Saka as the new Head of the Public Service of Ogun State following the statutory retirement of the immediate past Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya.
Governor Abiodun described the appointment as a reflection of his administration’s commitment to rewarding diligence, professionalism, integrity, and dedicated service within the Ogun State Public Service.

Until his appointment, Mr. Saka served as the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services. He began his career in the Ogun State Public Service in 1993 as a classroom teacher before later transitioning into the mainstream civil service.

The governor noted that the new Head of Service has over the years demonstrated competence, leadership, administrative capacity, and commitment to duty in various positions he occupied within the state civil service.
Abiodun expressed confidence that Mr. Saka’s wealth of experience in policy coordination, public administration, and strategic governance would further strengthen efficiency, discipline, and service delivery in the Ogun State Public Service.

He congratulated the new Head of Service on his appointment and wished him a successful tenure as the administration continues efforts toward building a more prosperous Ogun State.
