The Chairman of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ogun State, Abayomi Sanyaolu, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across the state and the country on the occasion of the Eid al-Kabir celebration.
In a congratulatory message released on Tuesday, Comrade Sanyaolu urged Muslims to observe the festival in the true spirit of sacrifice, love, and obedience exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
He called on the faithful to celebrate with moderation and to extend kindness to the less privileged in their communities.
The APM chairman also emphasised the importance of peaceful coexistence, appealing to Muslims to use the period to pray fervently for unity, peace, and stability in Nigeria.
According to him, the country’s progress depends largely on collective prayers, tolerance, and responsible conduct among citizens, especially during religious festivities.
Comrade Sanyaolu further wished Muslims in Ogun State and beyond a joyful and hitch-free Eid al-Kabir celebration, praying that the season brings renewed hope and blessings to families and the nation at large.
